How Do I Cut & Paste (or Copy & Paste)? February 20, 2008

  1. Highlight/Block the text desired to cut or copy.  To highlight start with the cursor at one end of the text, with the left mouse button held down move the mouse across the piece of text. With just the section of text highlighted release the mouse button. The text then can be cut, copied or moved.Right click with the mouse to display a menu.
  2. Left click on cut or copy.
  3. Go to the place where you wish to paste the text/image and left click with the mouse to place the cursor.
  4. With the cursor at that spot desired, right click with the mouse to display a menu.
  5. Left click on paste.
